Misusing NeeDoh toys by microwaving or freezing them can result in serious injuries, including severe burns. Always use NeeDoh toys as intended and avoid altering them in any way.
Q. Are the contents inside my NeeDoh product safe?
A. Schylling is diligent in testing during development and production to ensure our products are meeting current safety testing standards and are nontoxic. The health and safety of our consumers is our priority.
Most products in the NeeDoh family are similarly produced. The outer material is thermoplastic rubber (TPR) and the fill inside is polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) which is also used as a coating in pharmaceuticals and dietary supplements. Our color changing products also include a water-soluble dye which is nontoxic. The Nice Cube outer material is toner and TPR and the fill inside is 100% maltose which is like melted sugar.
Q. How do I clean my NeeDoh product?
A. If you NeeDoh product feels dirty or sticky, hand wash with mild soap and water, and let it air dry. Then dust with corn starch or baby powder.
Q. What if the contents inside my NeeDoh escape?
A. Scrape up as much of the contents as you can and discard. Then use a clean wet cloth and mild soap to remove any residue from the affected item or area.
Q. What should I do if I have air bubbles in my Nice Cube?
A. Air bubbles inside your Nice Cube are totally cool- they just add an extra element to squish, squeeze, and pull. Check out our video here.
Q. My NeeDoh product feels very firm, is there something wrong with it?
A. Sometimes if your NeeDoh sits for a while, especially certain styles like the Nice Cube or Gumdrop, it might feel quite firm. If this happens just get those groovy vibes going with your warm hands and some gentle kneading action. Check out our video here.
